2094. Humanity lives divided. The young Mars inhabitant ELAINE ZOLA (15) has never felt connected to her orderly Mars community on the faraway planet.<\/p>\n

When she suddenly finds herself inside a retro virtual reality game and meets KEVIN KORNER (17), a cybercriminal from Earth, they form an unlikely bond that transcends youthful failure and innocent love in order to gain ultimate freedom.<\/p>\n

My goal was to find a style that both works well with the script and within the hardware limitations of the Oculus Quest, which was the target platform.<\/p>\n

To achieve this, I developed a look that relies on very simple shapes and vertex colors with gradients. The city itself consists of modular building blocks that can be rearranged and set-dressed for increased visual interest.<\/p>\n
